Porsche is supplementing its SUV line-up with the Cayenne GTS and Cayenne GTS Coupe, the two newest models.
With an output of 338 kW and max torque of 620 Nm, this four-liter biturbo V8 engine powers the Cayenne GTS with improved performance in all areas. In the Sport Chrono package, both GTS models are capable of sprinting from 0-100 km/h in an impressive 4.5 seconds, with a top speed of 270 km/h.
Delivering 14 kW and 20 Nm more than its predecessor, the new Cayenne GTS boasts improved performance and impeccable luxury. With the Sport Chrono package, the Cayenne GTS Coupe is now 0.6 seconds faster than before when racing from 0-100 km/h. The top speed has also been increased by 8 km/h. Along with fantastic handling and output, efficiency has been achieved by the optimally matched Tiptronic S eight-speed automatic transmission, direct petrol injection with central injector position, adaptive cylinder control, and a carefully designed thermal management system. The sportiest Cayenne models offer a fuel consumption of 11.4 to 11.2 1/100 km, according to the NEDC combined cycle.
Designed to produce a rich, throaty and sporty sound, an exhaust system with its tailpipes located at the outer sides of the car’s rear is fitted as standard. Being a new development offered exclusively on the Cayenne GTS Coupe, the high frequency-tuned sports exhaust system features two centrally positioned oval tailpipes. It will soon be featured on the Cayenne Turbo Coupe as well.
With the ideal of prerequisites for outstanding lateral dynamics in mind, the chassis set-up of the new Cayenne GTS models certainly does not disappoint. Lowering the car by 20 millimeters, the standard steel-spring suspension includes Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) for that sporty and active damper control. Also fitted as standard is the Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus).
Equipped as standard, satin-gloss Black 21-inch RS Spyder Design wheels are featured in the new Cayenne GTS models. The LED tail light bar and LED headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System are also dark-tinted.
