In a recent exhibition called “Dale Chihuly: Glass in Bloom,” Porsche electrified Singapore’s Gardens by the Bay as the official automotive partner. The mind-blowing Taycan art car featuring a colorful floral livery flowing up the front hood, doors, fenders, and roof took center stage and captivated the audience. Elements from American artist Dale Chihuly’s esteemed “Persians” series were also highlighted in the floral Porsche Taycan.
This exclusive display showed striking composition of innovation, history, and emotion, made more special by the futuristic backdrop of the SG50 Lattice found within the Bay's lavish South Garden.
But witnessing is simply never enough. Porsche opened a unique driving opportunity amid the stunning surrounding of Chihuly’s first major garden exhibition in Asia. Guests were invited to take the all-electric Porsche Taycan on a test drive around Singapore’s vibrant horticultural oasis.
During the integrated driving experience, the fourth variant and entry-level of the Taycan model range also made its official debut. The first rear-wheel drive Taycan boasts of the Porsche typical performance with up to 350 kW, and a range of up to 484 kilometers.
There couldn’t be a more perfect and strategic fit for Porsche than this partnership with Dale Chihuly: Glass in Bloom, as it resonates the same harmony of innovation with tradition, and of art and design with craftsmanship as the puristic Taycan. Chief Executive Officer of Porsche Asia Pacific, Arthur Willmann said, “It’s a clear symbol of our brand’s commitment to piloting lighthouse projects that share what Porsche stands for as we evolve and grow in Southeast Asia.”
