Boasting the most extreme aerodynamic package and an ultra-high-performance engine, the new 911 GT3 RS promises maximum performance on a road-legal machine. Porsche took full advantage of technology and concepts from motorsport to upgrade the GT3 RS into a next-level sports car worthy of both the road and the racetrack.
Inspired by Motorsport, Both Inside and Out
The RS model’s racing DNA gives this modern sports car the significant performance boost that makes it stand out more. A central radiator and active aerodynamic elements tie the new 911 directly to the Le Mans class-winning 911 RSR and its brother, the 911 GT3 R.
Porsche gave the new 911 a dramatically sculpted bodywork with purposeful details to double the downforce. One of these details is a massive rear wing taller than the car’s roof—a true first for a production 911. A drag reduction system acts as a countermeasure for the massive wing, helping attain higher speeds and low drag on the track's straight sections. Fully-adjustable elements in the two-part rear wing, a front splitter, side blades, and vents on the fender help aerodynamic magic happen throughout.
With these outstanding features, the new 911 GT3 RS is able to yield twice as much downforce as its 991.2-generation predecessor, and three times more than the current 911 GT3—get ready for an epic ride!
Another impressive upgrade is the 518-horsepower version of the naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine. Combining these with all the proper aerodynamic configurations, this powerhouse car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and can reach a top speed of 296 km/h in seventh gear.
High-Performance Beauty
While a lot went into the new GT3’s sportscar performance, it doesn’t mean Porsche sacrificed aesthetics. Black leather, Racetex, and carbon-weave finish give the 911 GT3 RS a purist sporting look. Lightweight CFRP (carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic) was extensively used, from the doors, roof, and front lid to the standard full bucket seats inside.

Porsche offers more with the 911 GT3 RS in a couple of packages.Available at no extra cost, Clubsport package includes a steel roll-over bar, a hand-held fire extinguisher, and six-point seat belts for the driver. In the Weissach package, additional costs bring in a carbon-fiber roll-over bar, PDK shift paddles with motorsport-derived magnet technology, and magnesium-forged wheels – enhancements that further make the GT3 lighter, faster, and more dynamic.
Exclusive 911 GT3 RS Chronograph
Translating the motorsport mindset, maximum precision is paramount, into something tangible, Porsche has also developed an exclusive 911 GT3 RS mechanical watch for car owners. Based on a glass-bead blasted case, it features the COSC-certified mechanical Porsche Design chronograph caliber WERK 01.200, which is renowned for its high accuracy.
