One of the toughest and best-known customer racing series in the world, a dream come true for many racers—this is the Porsche Supercup. It has created history, and continues to do so.
As the Porsche Supercup turned 30, Porsche Motorsport made sure its anniversary celebration would spell out nothing but glory by astounding the world with a Sonderwunsch Factory Re-Commissioned roadgoing 911 GT3 based on the 911 GT3 Cup used in the Porsche Supercup.
Behold, the new 911 GT3 – 30 Years of Porsche Supercup, a worthy ambassador for this memorable anniversary year.
Work of Wonder
Completed in less than six months, this unique model made by specialists at Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur is truly a work of wonder combining elements of customization and re-commissioning. The basis, which is the ultimate motorsport-derived road-ready Porsche 911 GT3, was first disassembled, and then reconstructed with innovation and special design. Impressive technical restoration of a Porsche road car, and redesign of the exterior and interior looks to a new-vehicle standard are showcased.
Throughout its making, Porsche’s tradition of high-technical standards was strictly followed to ensure that quality is top-notch. More than that, a great team spirit took the project to the finish line with flying colors.
Exterior and Interior Custom Features
No detail on the Factory-Recommissioned 911 GT3 is a sticker or a wrap. Displaying an extraordinary touch, multicolor paintwork using Agate Grey Metallic, GT Silver Metallic, high-gloss Black, Meteor Grey Metallic, Volcano Grey Metallic, Parliament Grey Metallic, Diamond Black Metallic, and Grigio Granito Metallic, take center stage.
The eight-color paintwork design is incorporated in the anniversary logo, and a multi-colored pixel mesh inspired by the VIP racing car was also meticulously applied behind the front wheels, behind the air outlets in the front bonnet, and on the rear wheel’s arches. A large golden ‘30’, and the anniversary logo on the front bonnet and doors shout out how special the car is.
Not to mention, greatness has been immortalized in the car, with the names of all 29 previous Porsche Supercup champs painted in gold and sealed with high-gloss clear lacquer on the rear bumper.
The interior is as stunning as it looks on the outside. Beautiful embossed anniversary logos can be found in the headrests, and dashboard trim; the seats, dashboard, side panels, and door panels show off a customized Mojave Beige cross-stitching.
Each Sonderwunsch Project is treated special and with utmost excellence, not only for customers but for the company, as well.
“New projects always mean new challenges, and we learn something every time. That applies to this 911 GT3 – 30 Years of Porsche Supercup, as well,” Porsche Vice President Individualization and Classic Alexander Fabig shared.

This special model will be flaunted at Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup races. Appearances at the Porsche Museum and CityLife Showroom in Milan starting late summer, along with the 911 GT3 Cup VIP race car are also in the works.
