In the vibrant city of Bangkok, old meets new in numerous ways. Ancient temples and modern skyscrapers coexist, and traditional street food vendors thrive alongside trendy restaurants. Every year, Das Treffen brings Porsche’s air-cooled ancestors together with their modern descendants, uniting all generations of the Porsche community.

Das Treffen began in 2016, born from the passion of founder Sihabutr ‘Tenn’ Xoomsai for the Porsche brand. From a small grassroots gathering, it has grown to become the largest Porsche gathering in Southeast Asia. The event brings together Porsche enthusiasts from all over the world, celebrating the unique character of Thailand and the colorful personalities of Porsche cars. The seventh edition, with the Dreams in Colours theme, paid homage to the kaleidoscope of Porsche paint colors and the individuality that is shared by Porsche and its fans.

The carnival-like atmosphere at IMPACT Speed Park in Bangkok brought the community together in celebration. From the Gymkhana Zone, where Porsche owners competed in time trials, to a Kids’ Driving School where young fans honed their skills, Das Treffen 7 had something for every member of the Porsche family.

This year's Das Treffen took on special significance. It marks the 60th anniversary of the iconic Porsche 911 and 30 years of Porsche in Thailand. To commemorate these milestones, Porsche Thailand unveiled a vibrant art installation at Das Treffen 7 bearing the seven colors of the week in Thai culture. The celebration also featured rare and sought-after models such as a 911 Speedster in a Paint-to-Sample Oak Green Metallic and a classic 911 F-Series in Burgundy Red.

The passion of Porsche enthusiasts is passed down from generation to generation in Thailand, where sports car dreams are woven into the fabric of the culture. At Das Treffen, these dreams come to life, and the spirit of the Porsche community shines through. Founder Tenn Xoomsai’s vision of sharing his passion with fellow enthusiasts has been realized, making Das Treffen a gathering that Porsche fans look forward to every year. Celebrating heritage, forward-looking, innovative, and bursting with color, Das Treffen 7 was a fitting celebration of Porsche and Thailand, marking the start of a vibrant year ahead.
