Some racetracks are famous. Others become part of automotive mythology. The Nürburgring is firmly in the latter category.
When the legendary circuit celebrates its centenary in 2027, Porsche will mark the occasion with a 911 GT3 created for those who understand that a great performance car is about more than speed. The 911 GT3 100 Jahre Nürburgring is a tribute to a century of racing history—and to a circuit that has helped shape Porsche’s own identity for generations.

Limited to 100 examples for the German market, the special edition will be available to order from September 2026, with deliveries scheduled for the anniversary year.
Its character is unmistakable at first glance.
Customers can choose between White, recalling the classic racing canvas for sponsor liveries, and GT Silver Metallic, inspired by Porsche Cup cars. Both are punctuated by vivid green accents—a nod to the Nordschleife’s enduring nickname, the “Green Hell.”

The front section and rear trim are finished with green wrap that doubles as protective film, echoing a practical detail once used by factory racing teams to distinguish their cars on the circuit. Historic Nürburgring logos, gold accents, customizable start numbers and hand-written-style graphics inspired by Nordschleife graffiti bring the track’s personality directly onto the car.
Then there is the hardware.

An available Manthey Kit adds modified suspension, optimized braking components, and a comprehensive aerodynamic package that can generate 540 kilograms of downforce at 285 km/h. Reigning DTM champion Ayhancan Güven demonstrated its potential, recording a 6:50.853-minute lap of the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
Even the details feel drawn from the paddock. Green tow lugs, recovery-point arrows, California Gold 20/21-inch forged wheels and a dramatic rear wing with gold Porsche lettering reinforce the connection between road car and race machine.
Inside, the tribute becomes more intimate.

“Welcome to the Green Hell” illuminates the door sills, while LED projectors cast the Nürburgring outline onto the pavement. Black leather and Race-Tex are elevated by distinctive stitching inspired by the circuit’s curbs. A green roll cage continues the exterior theme, while the driver’s lightweight sports bucket seat reveals green beneath its graduated perforation.
The steering wheel’s mode button carries perhaps the most fitting detail of all: ‘Grüne Hölle’ (Green Hell).
Owners can choose between the seven-speed Porsche dual-clutch transmission and six-speed manual gearbox, with the latter receiving a walnut gear knob inspired by the 911 Carrera T.

Yet this GT3's significance extends beyond its limited production run.
Porsche’s relationship with the Nürburgring stretches back decades, from the 550 Spyder’s early appearances in the 1950s to landmark victories and extraordinary records. Stefan Bellof’s 6:11.13-minute Nordschleife lap in the Porsche 956 in 1983 remains one of the circuit’s defining moments, while Timo Bernhard’s 5:19.546-minute run in the Porsche 919 Hybrid Evo in 2018 wrote another extraordinary chapter.

The Nürburgring has tested Porsche’s limits—and helped define them.

Now, as the circuit approaches 100 years, the 911 GT3 100 Jahre Nürburgring turns that history into something tangible: a rare expression of motorsport heritage, craftsmanship, and an iconic representation of the Green Hell.
