In a heartwarming collaboration, Porsche, the renowned sports car manufacturer, is joining hands with Make-A-Wish to make dreams come true for children worldwide facing critical illnesses. To commemorate its '75 Years of Porsche Sports Cars' anniversary, the company has pledged a generous donation of 1.8 million euros to Make-A-Wish, contributing to fulfilling the wishes of children globally.

Oliver Blume, Chairman of the Executive Board at Porsche, emphasized the brand's commitment to social responsibility, stating, "Porsche is synonymous with dreams. And for us, financial success and social responsibility go hand in hand." The donation aligns with the spirit of giving back, providing children and their families with a beacon of hope during challenging times.

Make-A-Wish, founded in 1980, has been dedicated to fulfilling the wishes of over 550,000 children in 50 countries. In honor of Porsche's iconic model, the Porsche 356, the donation aims to fulfill the wishes of 356 children with critical illnesses globally.

Luciano Manzo, CEO of Make-A-Wish International, expressed gratitude for Porsche's longstanding partnership and the transformative impact it has had on the lives of children. He stated, "In 2023 alone, Porsche has helped transform the lives of 75 children who are living with critical illnesses, with plans to reach many more over the coming years."

The collaboration between Make-A-Wish and Porsche has already fulfilled the dreams of 75 children, showcasing the power of partnership in bringing joy to those facing adversity. Four heartwarming examples highlight the diverse and impactful wishes granted:

1. Evan, 18, USA: Battling Langerhans cell histiocytosis, Evan's dream of restoring his first car, a Porsche 944, became a reality, providing motivation during chemotherapy.

2. Leon, 17, Germany: Diagnosed with brain cancer, Leon's wish for a survival training experience in the forest and an off-road course at the Porsche Experience Centre came true.

3. Jung Jaeung, 11, South Korea: Battling acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, Jung Jaeung learned how to fly a drone and edit videos, fulfilling his wish to create a music video.

4. Jeanne, 8, Switzerland: Suffering from leukaemia, Jeanne's dream of seeing an owl fly and holding it in her arms was realized at the zoo, leaving an indelible mark on her heart.

Porsche's commitment to philanthropy extends beyond the roads, making a significant impact on the lives of children worldwide. This initiative exemplifies the brand's dedication to making a positive difference in the communities it serves.
