Dennis Retera, a Porsche instructor, effortlessly lapped the 200 meter-long drift circle 210 times- with the front wheels not once facing the same direction as the curve.

Porsche Cayenne’s New Sound: “Like a Fit Athlete”

A sound with a strong character has been carefully composed by the Acoustics Department in Weissach for the new Porsche Cayenne GTS Coupe. 


Markus Sitzler, the Team Lead Vehicle Periphery SUV-Engines, describes the sound as “the sonorousness you would expect from a V8, flavored with a dash of GT racing.” In other words, he says, “the Cayenne GTS Coupe doesn’t sound like a muscle man, it sounds more like a fit athlete.”

With an output of 338 kW and max torque of 620 Nm, this four-liter biturbo V8 engine powers the Cayenne GTS with improved performance in all areas. In the Sport Chrono package, both GTS models are capable of sprinting from 0-100 km/h in an impressive 4.5 seconds, with a top speed of 270 km/h.
