Thanks to Laura Kukuk, the 27-year old engineer has created history with the innovative Porche 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition. 
 
To better understand the complexities of the 911 Targa 4S, it helps to first reference an early Targa model from 1971 with black/black Pepita seats and a 2.2-liter engine. This early model flexes a classic Fuchs rim, the world’s very first forged aluminum wheel. Porsche Taycan Makes Guinness World Record History

It’s no small feat to enter the Guinness World Records, but the Porsche Taycan did just that, recording the longest drift with an electric vehicle.

Dennis Retera, a Porsche instructor, effortlessly lapped the 200 meter-long drift circle 210 times- with the front wheels not once facing the same direction as the curve.

Porsche Cayenne’s New Sound: “Like a Fit Athlete”

A sound with a strong character has been carefully composed by the Acoustics Department in Weissach for the new Porsche Cayenne GTS Coupe. 


Markus Sitzler, the Team Lead Vehicle Periphery SUV-Engines, describes the sound as “the sonorousness you would expect from a V8, flavored with a dash of GT racing.” In other words, he says, “the Cayenne GTS Coupe doesn’t sound like a muscle man, it sounds more like a fit athlete.”

Porsche is supplementing its SUV line-up with the Cayenne GTS and Cayenne GTS Coupe, the two newest models. 


With an output of 338 kW and max torque of 620 Nm, this four-liter biturbo V8 engine powers the Cayenne GTS with improved performance in all areas. In the Sport Chrono package, both GTS models are capable of sprinting from 0-100 km/h in an impressive 4.5 seconds, with a top speed of 270 km/h.
